I'm a math and science girl, with a bit of a creative side. It wasn't until college that I first picked up a DSLR camera. I met someone who loved creating videos and I was inspired to give it a try. I assisted with filming weddings, eventually tackling the art of photography. At the time, I didn't realize how much that camera would change my life.
It was my junior year of nursing school that I decided to make my "hobby" a business. So, instead of chasing my cats around the house and photographing countless plants, I turned my focus to the people around me. It was the love and support of my friends and family that encouraged me to pursue this passion, to not only capture beautiful moments, but to create timeless images.
I graduated from college in 2016, got my RN license, and began working in my hospital's open heart ICU. I am in love with my job and I am so thankful for the flexibility that allows me to do both! I thrive on learning new things and photography has challenged me to grow, encouraged me to learn, and allowed me opportunities to make great relationships along the way. It has been a journey; one that I hope continues for years to come.
